How To Get Rid Of An Ants In Pots Invasion

Ants colonies can appear overnight in the flower pots in your home. But an ant invasion can be easily stopped if you know the real reason of these ants inside of your pots. Ants are always gone exploring the territories where they will find food, water or a place for a new shelter.

Use insecticide plants
In order not to intoxicate your house or flowers with toxic substances, use plants and organic products that ants can’t stand. Mint leaves and chili powder are two eco-friendly products that will keep ants away.

Make your own insecticides
Prepare your own insecticide as it follows:
Blend and the peels from one orange and mix it with water. Put the solution in a spray bottle and spray the area where ants appear.

Another option is to prepare a mixture made from 1 teaspoon of boric acid dissolved in 4 teaspoons of honey and 1 cup of water to keep these small invaders away from your flower pots.
